US 24 over IL 116 Bridge

Located near Peoria, Illinois, this project involved the rehabilitation of dual bridges carrying US 24 over IL 116. V&K replaced the pier caps and columns at the expansion piers on both bridges, and we were able to construct the piers while the structures remained open to 24,300 vehicles per day above. The rehabilitation also included concrete repair on the remaining piers, extension of the existing pier crash walls, bearing replacement, and expansion joint replacement at the abutment and expansion piers. V&K was also provided traffic control plans for the project.
